About State Representative Clair Levy:
Rep. Levy has been a leader in new energy legislation. She was a key driver of House Bill 1037, which required investor owned utilities to create demand side management (energy efficiency) programs. Rep. Levy was also involved in the development of legislation for an on-bill financing solution, solar gardens and much much more. In 2008, Southwest Energy Efficiency Project (SWEEP) presented to her the Leadership in Energy Efficiency Award for "outstanding leadership in sponsoring energy efficiency legislation that will save consumers and businesses in Colorado billions of dollars".
