Xcel Energy has been mandated by the State Legislature to
spend $700 million dollars over the next 12 years to
increase energy efficiency in Colorado.
These expenditures will easily trigger a total of
$1.2 billion spending on products like insulation,
windows, furnaces and air conditioners.
