According to Catalyst, Inc., women made up 46.7% of the labor force in 2010, but only earn $.83 for every $1 a man earns. These statistics bring focus to an age-old dilemma that that women must learn to overcome during their careers.
Still today, women in the workforce are faced with many stereotypes, challenges, and hurdles. It is imperative that women prepare themselves for the difficulties they may face, and learn how to develop the necessary skills and leadership training needed to succeed.
